Events Committee

Coordinated by a Special Event Committee and the office, events are held throughout the year. These events, some of which are fundraisers, are intended to bring residents together as well as to attract visitors.  Some of our events include Green-Up Day, the Shaker 7 Road Race and Walk-A-Thon, a fall fundraising music concert, and Hometown Holidays, plus involvement in other town events such as the Town-Wide Yard Sale and Old Home Days. We are always in need of volunteers to help with these events.
